However, many times this feature is not enabled, or attempts to dial the wrong connection. In that case, it may be necessary to locate and dial the connection manually. Below are some instructions for doing this, specific to certain versions of Windows. For users of Windows 2000 and XP, just click on the Start button, then click on ?Control Panel?. Then, find an item called ?Network and Dialup Connections? or simply ?Network Connections?. Open this item and you should see a list of connections. Find the Eastern Oregon Net connection under ?Dialup Connections? and double-click it to open it. Click ?connect? or ?dial? to connect to the internet.
For Widows Vista, click the start button, and then "Connect to". Find the Eastern Oregon Net connection, click it, and then click the "Connect" button.
For Windows 7, click the Icon in the lower right that looks like cell phone signal bars. Click the Eastern Oregen Net connection, and then click "Connect".
For Windows 8, run your mouse cursor down the right side of the screen and then click the settings gear. In the bottom group of 6 icons, click the upper left (networking) icon. Click on the EONI connection, and then click connect.
