Support: Questions and Answers Detail
Q: Forbidden/blocked attachments
A:
EONI has three forbidden/blocked attachment settings: normal, strong and extreme.
By default all customers are setup on the extreme setting.
Settings associated with forbidden attachments can be adjusted by EONI customers via the EONI webmail system.
Each of the three settings blocks a different list of attachment filename suffixes. The suffix is typically the last 3 characters of a computer filename. For example Document.pdf would have a suffix of PDF.
The NORMAL setting includes only those forbidden attachments in the NORMAL list.
The STRONG setting includes those forbidden attachments in the STRONG and NORMAL lists.
The EXTREME setting includes those forbidden attachments in the EXTREME, STRONG and NORMAL lists.
